PARIS, LONDRES, BERLIN, NEW YORK - LTC LIVE : LA VOIX DU GRAOULLY ! SPéCIAL LLOYD COLE AND THE COMMOTIONS.
Lloyd Cole est né le 31 janvier 1961 à Buxton, en Angleterre. Il grandit en écoutant Bob Dylan, The Kinks et The Velvet Underground. En 1981, il part étudier la philosophie à Glasgow. Là, il commence à composer de la Soul, taillée spécialement dans des partitions pour chœurs féminins et section de cuivres. Il passe ensuite à la Pop avec le quintette The Commotions. "Perfect Skin", le premier single de Lloyd Cole And The Commotions, connaît un succès immédiat. Puis viendront des Tops comme : le slove "Forest Fire", le titre mondial "Rattlesnakes", et un de leur plus entraînant morcif (à mon sens) "From The Hip". A écouter de suite...
