"Dans son nouvel Opus, Call The Comet, Johnny Marr assure une prestation musicale équilibrée, équilibrante, musclée, vitaminée. Un mur du song Alternative-Rock, Indie-Pop et Indie-Rock qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Il y décline une passionnante palette de notes qui lui ressemble, grave, claire et détonante. Il a un peu des Smiths et d'Electronic dans tout cela, en valeurs résiduelles marquées, bien sûr, et beaucoup de JM ! Mais surtout un remarquable jeu de guitare électrique créatif, mélodique et harmonieux, qui en a fait une Référence of Ze Muzik. Walk Into The Sea reste le titre qui pécho un max LE Public, avec une vraie accroche en oreilles et une résonance magnifique, rehaussée par la voix particulière de Mister Marr. Un Grand Jazzman est mort, une Légende du Jazz vient de s’Immortaliser au Panthéon de la Music !"
